Optical Smoke Detector

Functioning as a point-type optical smoke detector, this unit samples ambient air every second using an infrared pulsing system inside a light-proof labyrinth chamber. It detects photons scattering off entering smoke particles onto an internal photodiode to trigger prompt emergency reporting to the panel.
